Intention
Success doesn’t always come quickly. Sometimes, it builds quietly, step by step, as we show up for ourselves day after day. It is making an intention and having discipline that truly creates. I’ve been reading Atomic Habits..well listening to anyway over Audible as I drive to work in the morning. Bad habits can be the fastest way to kill your dreams and goals.
Goals can feel overwhelming, but momentum builds through small, consistent action. Creating good habits. Setting yourself up for success. Atomic Habits talks about making things easy for yourself. The easier it is to do something we are more apt to do it. For instance, if you want to go to the gym before work-set your clothes out the night before. If you want to eat healthier, food prep. If you want to stop watching so much tv put the remote somewhere hard to find it. Next thing you know, it becomes easier to make these choices. So what can you do to make your dreams more attainable? Eventually, over time small steps forward add up to something real.
You just need to be willing. Willing to try something new. Change your attitude. Create new habits and make things easier for yourself. Make the conscious intention that you will achieve your goals, they aren’t out of reach and get back to me when you do I would love to hear about it.
